Through dovetails —
     The picture shows the 2nd dovetail that I made. The first one was a "reject" — part of my learning curves, but in fact, once you get a few unique things under your belt, toght and attractive joints are possible.

1/2 Blind Dovetails —
   While this task involves sime hand cutting, it is so very simple to do. It is great to be able to do both through and 1/2-blind dovetails so easily.

Mortise and Tenon — Actually, there are a number of ways to do these joints but this is the one I prefer. It is easy to do, very accurate and gives me the square tenon and mortise that looks "handcrafted."

   Raised Panel Door  —
   The frame:  you can shape the rails and stiles in a number of ways.

Tracy starts learning the LittleRat  —
     She had no router experience but wanted to learn how to make dovetails, so she becomes this shops "new student." First she just beocmes familiar with how the LittleRat works.

    Andrea is brand new to the shop and her project is to learn what the WoodRat can do. She goes from setting up the unit to making some really nice wood pieces.
