Do you think that it is taking forever to finish the clamp rack? You are
right. That is one of the problems I have in the shop these days. I see
Elena and/or Andrea for only a couple of hours each week. I will try to
change that. In the meantime, slow is the name of the game — in fact, it is
my best speed too often. Speedy Gonzales was not 70.

The red lines are where the top of the upright will be cut. Elena is
measuring down to where she drilled and screewed in the two long lag screws.
This is the first of three legs and she will use it to pattern the others.

On her next keg assembly, she measures where she will position the lag scrws.

She has clamped the pieces
together and is now drilling a 1/4" hole as deep as she can. The lag screw
she is using is about 1/2" longer than the drill.
