If you look closely, Elena is displaying two different sets — one a twist
drill set and the other a brad point bit set —340 bits in all. Why?

This is why. I must have 6 different sets like this around the shop. The
1/8" is missing — maybe it stayed with the pop-rivets. The 5/16" went to the
drawer.... and so on. Fact is, all the missing bits in each of the cases is
because I (spelled "I") neglected to put them back where they belonged. I
wouldn't confess such a thing if I didn't think that there are a lot
of woodworkers (you?) with the same situation.

The case has a quantity of each size
drill bit. There is a method to how they selected the quantities but
hopefully the quantities will cover my needs for any years to come.
Not only will I have complete sets in the shop, I won't have to buy
a missing drill bit that is plastic carded and at a crazy price at my local
hardware store — I mean really, a 1/8" twist drill for $3.79?

And for you who think I am lucky to be getting things like these free.
Not these. I paid the price. They are on sale at Woodcraft for $29.99 and
they offer both twist drills and brad point.

Proof positive. I really have this invoice copied to show how inexpensive
the UPS shipping was. This was one heavy package. But I love shopping
on-line. I ordered this on Sunday and received it on Thursday.
Enough said. I pass on to you this tidbit for what it is
worth. Do you have any "best buys?" I would love to hear about them.
